REVIEW: Countdown NYE 2015

Insomniac Events’ Countdown NYE was the prime location for dance music lovers in Southern California to spend their last hours of 2015. The highly anticipated festival located at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino finally came for people to celebrate the end of 2015 and the beginning of 2016. The countdown was over for attendees to finally be able to see the high energy of Alison Wonderland, to get a little bouncy with Oliver Heldens, and to get down with What So Not and Carnage. We got to spend the actual countdown to the New Year with either TJRDJ Snake, or a B2B set with Cookie Monsta and FuntCase. And the night ended with Delta HeavyKaskade, and Sleepy Tom.

For those who needed a break from dancing, attendees got to get into the winter spirit by skating at the festival’s ice skating rink. There was also a photo booth for those who wanted to capture the night’s memories. Lastly, VIP “headliners” were able to enjoy the VIP section at the main stage, with the perfect view of both the beautiful crowd and stage.

The night was filled with overall great vibes and awesome music. The stage-set up and LED production was large enough for the entire crowd of people to see their favorite DJs perform without having to worry about pushing to the very front. Whether you came as a group of two or a group of ten, you were sure to make friends with everyone around you and vibe to the music together as the night went on.
